Program areas at Lonely Entrepreneur
The Lonely Entrepreneur partnered with the Columbus Foundation to empower Black, Hispanic and social entrepreneurs with free access to the Learning Community throughout Columbus. The program was made available in partnership with a variety of Columbus organizations.
The United Way of Central Maryland partnered with The Lonely Entrepreneur and its Black Entrepreneur Initiative to provide the Learning Community to Black entrepreneurs in Baltimore as part of their Changemaker Challenge. According to the CEO, Franklyn Baker, "We believe our commitment to The Lonely Entrepreneur strengthens the communities we serve, fuels the economy, and builds on our initiatives like our Changemaker Challenge and Neighborhood Grants. The Lonely Entrepreneur is a creative solution to addressing many of the challenges individuals face in starting or growing a business. First, it empowers underserved entrepreneurs by providing them with free access to its Learning Community - a one-stop shop for the knowledge, tools, and coaching support critical to their growth. Second, it provides organizations like United Way and others with the opportunity to drive social impact, innovation, job creation and equity."
The Lonely Entrepreneur partnered with UPS as part of its UPS Ignite program to provide free access to the Learning Community to Black, Latin, Asian, LGBTQ+ and other entrepreneurs throughout the United States. The program got into the hands of individuals through a variety of regional and national partnerships including the National Urban League, US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, National ACE and was featured in several publications including Black Enterprise Magazine.
The Lonely Entrepreneur has partnered with corporations and philanthropies to enable corporate and philanthropic partners to empower the entrepreneurs of their choice with free access to the knowledge, tools and support they need to start or grow a business. We do this by providing our platform - called the Learning Community - free to entrepreneurs through sponsorships and support of corporate and philanthropic partners.
