Organized sports banquets to recognize the accomplishments of Long Beach athletes, coaches and administrators of sports in the high schools, middle schools, Long Beach city college and Long Beach state university and other Long Beach athletes.
Weekly meeting raffles of items donated by members and other miscellaneous items.
Ran golf tournament with the mayors office to raise monies to promote athletic events and to recognize and honor athletes with scholarships.
