In 2023, across our three chapters in Delaware, Maryland, and Michigan, Lori's Hands served 282 clients and engaged 625 student volunteers.lori's Hands scholars program: supports bipoc, pell grant recipients, and first-generation college students through tailored internships focusing on nonprofit operations, program development, and community engagement, while providing in-home support for those with chronic illness.launched registered student organization: eastern Michigan university students engage in intergenerational relationships, aiding adults with chronic conditions in washtenaw and wayne counties and fostering community connections and leadership opportunities. Student involvement in weekly visits, assistance in daily activities,internships, and scholarships.
