Program areas at Los Angeles World Affairs Council and Town Hall

Educational Events: Over 36 webinars, plus more than 15 in-person events were held with speakers such as the former Prime Minister of Sweden, former US Secretary of Defense, former Director of the CIA, former Commander of the US Indo-Pacific Command, Ambassadors to the US from Saudi Arabia and Estonia, former US Ambassadors to Germany, South Korea, Ukraine, former Special Representative of the President for Nuclear Nonproliferation, former White House Special Counsel for Ethics and Government Reform, former Director of Policy Planning for the US State Department, former Official at the US National Security Council, experts and academics from Harvard University, UC Berkley, Pepperdine University, Pomona College, Kings College London, RAND Corporation.Topics at these webinars & events were presented in a non advocating, non partisan manner, ranging from current issues in domestic & international politics, military policy, economics, business, health, education, environment, technology, energy and other issue areas. All events were open to the the public, and the webinars were free of charge. Total attendance was over 8,700.
Student Program: The organization hosted 3 in-person luncheons, addressing the topics of Critical Thinking, Artificial Intelligence, and Leadership, exclusively for students from Los Angeles area high schools. Total attendance was over 200. HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ALSO PARTICIPATED IN WEBINARS, IN-PERSON EVENTS, AND LUNCHEONS WITH PRIVATE BRIEFINGS ARRANGED WITH THE SPEAKER.
Online Media: Online Media encompasses the educational outreach of the organization on the internet and website. An online archive of transcripts and videos of its educational events are made available to the general public free of charge. Webinars are recorded and uploaded to Youtube. Total YouTube views were over 82,000.
