: Loudoun Hunger Relief provided 2.4 million pounds of food to 13,847 unique Loudoun residents through 170,000 service instances in fy 23. Over 50% of the food lhr distributed was fresh, whole food including nearly 760,000 pounds of fresh produce. 36% of these individuals were children (4970) under the age of 18 . During a visit, a family receives a variety of healthy, nutritious foods including milk, eggs, meats, fresh fruits & vegetables, dry goods, breads and miscellaneous items. Lhr serves as a produce hub during the summer months, collecting, storing and sharing fresh fruits and vegetables with other food pantries in Loudoun.
