Cancer Research - The primary purpose is to conduct and support research and promote education in the diagnosis, detection, and treatment of cancer. The Center is also continuing to pursue the legislative mandate of achieving designation as a cancer center by the National Cancer Center Institute.
Cessation Program - To develop and implement a high quality tobacco prevention and cessation program consistent with the best practices in tobacco control.
