Program areas at Louisiana State Bar Association
The continuing legal education program provides quality and diverse continuing legal education opportunities at an affordable price to as many members of the Louisiana State Bar Association as possible.
The access to justice program works to assure that every Louisiana citizen has access to competent civil legal representation by promoting and supporting a broad-based and effective justice community through collaboration between the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Louisiana Bar foundation, Louisiana law schools, private practitioners, local Bar associations, pro bono programs and legal aid providers. Attorney and non-attorney volunteers throughout Louisiana strengthen an integrated delivery network by supporting all those who deliver legal services to the poor.
The Louisiana State Bar Association publishes the Louisiana Bar journal and Bar briefs bimonthly. These publications keep its members informed about recent developments in the law, the profession, and in the organization.
