Whooping crane reintroduction the Foundation is working cooperatively with the Louisiana department of Wildlife and Fisheries, the u.s. Fish and Wildlife service, the u.s. geological survey, the international crane Foundation and the la cooperative fish and Wildlife research unit to restore the whooping crane within Louisiana.
Archery in Louisiana schools the Foundation corresponds with the national archery in schools program to introduce students in grades 4-12 to international target style archery as part of in-school curriculum. Schools integrate via physcial education programs, after school programs, and archery clubs. The goal is to instill confidece in students through focus and discipline that the sport requries with the hope that the students will become more invovled with the sport for a lifetime, as well as the outdoors.
Rockfeller Wildlife refuge the refuge harbors a multitude of Wildlife and fish species of the Louisiana's marshes and serves as a outdoor labratory for marsh deterioration and management. The refuge also provides expertise in wise use of coastal wetlands and land management guidance.
Enhance fish and Wildlife resources in Louisiana through education and restoration and preservation of Wildlife and marine habitats.
