Triple "a" achiever: over 5,360 awards & 11,120 cards/letters were distributed to more than 3,500 students in 152 pre-k - 5th grade classrooms at 8 metro nashville public schools with the help of 152 volunteers. Began development of materials for new program theme for use next year.
Character education live! : conducted one "i feel" workshop for two 3rd grade classes to encourage responsible behavior in handling emotions. Continued research and development process to expand our "i feel" workshop from 1 workshop to 4 for grades 1-4.
Leading by reading: 418 books were read to 498 kindergarten children in 27 classes at 9 metro nashville public schools by 45 volunteer readers. Researched & purchased new books for current and later use.
Tools for schools: filled 85 orders for 650 products from 68 teachers/staff at 6 metro nashville public schools. Began research/development of new product ideas.
