Description
Love Not Lost revolutionizes the way we heal in grief and brings love and healing to those grieving through its photography program. Families facing a terminal diagnosis receive free portrait sessions and photo albums to preserve beautiful memories. Love Not Lost also creates empathy tools and community support resources, including the free online support tool at www.howcaniloveyoubetter.com. In 2022, Love Not Lost served families in Georgia and other states, transitioning to a new platform for the preserving memories program.

Program areas at Momento Foundation

Preserving memories program: in 2023, we were able to serve families across the country facing a terminal diagnosis and create beautiful memories for their loved ones as we continue to expand our photographer volunteer base. Families have loved their photo boxes that allow them to display their photos, share them, and use them for emotional support. The platform is working beautifully and will continue to support us as we grow.
Community support program: howcaniloveyoubetter.com has continued to be a helpful tool for people looking to support others who are going through a tough time. In addition to that website, we were able to film 13 episodes on video this year for our learning library to launch at the start of 2025. This can be found on the Momento collective (previously known as the Love well before the rebrand). Anyone is able to create a free profile and access three free self-assessments to help build self-awareness. If people choose to keep their profile public in the community, these results can also help others know how to support those individuals better. The book club is still going strong and has been a joy to the members who attend to foster connection, deeper understanding, and community support in grief.
Corporate care program: we are committed to bring grief and empathy training to leaders everywhere in supporting their efforts to care for their employees. We added a new 1-hour free webinar to help people navigate grief at work that is held on zoom bi-monthly and open to anyone. We received great feedback on those and will continue to host those next year.
