Program areas at Love of Linn County
In 2022 Love INC of Linn County received 5,700 calls for help from our neighbors in need. In response we were able to mobilized 187 volunteers from 25 area churches who donated 6,359 hours of service. They prepared durable medical equipment, gently used clothing and linens to be given away. They helped with moves, gave rides to medical appointments, and did minor home and auto repair. Volunteers delivered over 1,700 pieces of durable medical goods such as hospital beds, wheel chairs, commodes and other items, as well as baby supplies, appliances, furniture and food. In August 400 students were able to get new backpacks and school supplies. October and November saw 700 winter coats given away to men, women and children. In December 670 children received Christmas gifts through the effort of these amazing volunteers.
