Program areas at Love Your School
Parent concierge support: provides individualized support to assist parents with the educational needs for their children. In 2022, we served 1,721 parents through our parent concierge and support services. This is the most significant of our program services that includes:- intake phone calls and in person meetings with parents seeking advice- review of documents associated with a student's performance- review of evaluations and special education placements (504/met/iep)- advice about special education meetings and advocacy to parents for periods of weeks or months depending on the complexity of the student situation-evaluation of scholarship options that a family may qualify for-support discovering School options and School searches
Podcast: our podcasts serve families across the country who are curious about School options, education entrepreneurship, special education evaluations and more. In 2022 we released 35 podcast episodes and received 2,567 unique downloads nationwide of our episodes across two podcasts.
Informational events: in 2022 we held or participated in approximately 65 informational events in two states and online, including presentations about special education evaluations, School options in Arizona and west Virginia, affording private School through tuition tax credit scholarships and empowerment scholarship accounts. We held additional specific events for parents who were new or interested in empowerment scholarship accounts and needed extra support navigating the process to qualify, apply, and utilize the program.
