Program areas at Loving Arms Cancer Outreach
To assist cancer patients in Georgia with financial assistance of up to $600 per year. These funds are used to pay household bills on behalf of the patient. The organization assists with automobile, gas and groceries as part of the $600 by providing gift cards to the patients.
To provide free wigs, hats, scarves and medical equipment for patients in treatment.
To provide a general support for cancer patients. The groups participate in many forms of support therapy from crafts to relaxation and massage exercises. Additionally, education is provided on topics such as self-help, nutrition, care during treatment and how to transition back into the work force.
