The program was established in 1968 to realize the artistic vision of Lar Lubovitch. Over the past 55 years it has gained an international reputation as one of america's top-ranked Dance companies celebrated for both its choreographic excellence and its unsurpassed dancing. It has created more than 120 original dances by Lar Lubovitch, and has performed for millions of audience members across the us and in more than 40 other countries around the world. The Company's principal programs are: creating, performing (at home in nyc and on tour), facilitating performances of our works by other companies, presenting other companies performing their own works and teaching. The Company's work has been honored with virtually every major Dance award.
