Events hosted several ribbon cuttings for the local businesses in page County and showed support during non-member ribbon cutting/events. Conducted training/educational business seminars at the Chamber board room. Conducted training/educational lunch n' learn events at the Chamber board room. Conducted small business growth workshops via zoom. Conducted women in business meetings and events. Conducted 411 orientation/chamber membership orientation for new members. Hosted business networking breakfast - elected officials meet & greet. Hosted 7th annual Chamber holiday festival for over 1,500 community visitors. Hosted job fair & workshop. Conducted a small business saturday & shop small for the holidays event to promote local businesses and shopping in page County. Conducted a restaurant week event to promote local businesses and dining in page County. Conducted wedding forum. Conducted education/realtor partnership meeting conducted 97th annual banquet & awards - Hawaiian luau theme conducted annual tourism division meeting. Conducted Chamber annual business meeting. Conducted monthly tourism tuesday radio show. Conducted every other month valley business today radio show conducted monthly business after hours networking events, with a cumulative attendance of over 700. Hosted non-profit council meetings.
Outreach issued numerous press releases on the happenings in page County. Improved communications with members through monthly newsletters, weekly e-newsletters: "in the loop," monthly newsletter (mailed), and page news and courier articles. Popping-in at local businesses with membership certificates. Assisted new business prospects and entrepreneurs with advice, referrals, and guidance through license/permit requirements. Through social media, press releases, and presentations, promoted hundreds of events, festivals, fundraisers, receptions, and programs conducted by Chamber members. Expanded the Chamber's involvement with: shenandoah valley patnership, northern shenandoah valley regional commission, shenandoah valley travel association, dmo, shenandoah valley small business development center, Virginia tourism corporation, paca, vacce & luray rotary.
