Program areas at Luther Park Community
Luther Park provides quality services for mature iowans, meeting their physical, spiritual, social and psychological needs on its beautiful rose-scaped campus. The nursing Center is home to 120 individuals. Trinity Center has 3 licensed ccdi (chronically confused dementing illness) units, each home to 20 residents. Another 60 residents live in the general nursing area. Residents live in a home-like atmosphere with the availability of skilled/rehabiliation care including physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. Physical and social activities are provided at the appropriate level for each resident. Support for families of alzheimer's patients is also provided through a monthly support group and spouse luncheon.the assisted living facilities include 70 spacious, safe and secure apartments with options such as nursing services and medication management available. Staff with specialized training in dementia are available to those residents with mild to moderate memory loss and demenita. Amenities include an emergency call system, transportation to medical appointments, help with activities of daily living, library, pastoral & church services, wellness Center, and beauty shop.
