Program areas at LVH Als Foundation

The Foundation will fund research for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis ("Als") also widely known as "lou gehrig's disease." The Foundation will also fund outreach for families and patients affected by Als. The Foundation will provide grants to Als clinics as part of this effort. Als clinics are typically affiliated with hospital systems. Initially the Foundation will serve clinics in north carolina with plans to expand nationally and internationally. The goal of the Foundation is to fund a cure for Als.
