Program areas at Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center

The Center offered 40 in-person educational Arts classes for all ages. Special youth projects included an annual teen mural reception that had 65 people in attendance. In addition, 5 weeks of summer Arts camp served 80 youth, 15 of which received full scholarships or reduced tuition. The Center also offered volunteer opportunities and a youth leadership training program to 31 teens.
The Center hosted 4 different community Arts exhibits in the gallery which is staffed by a team of 75 community volunteers. The Center offered free art receptions, artist talks, and gallery host training and events. The Center used the gallery to host the 3-week holiday-inspired "festival of trees" event with the lions club of Carpinteria, collaborating with over 20 fellow local nonprofits.
The Center offered a free 4-month public concert series, a monthly Arts & crafts faire with a free community art project table, free cultural events, holiday festival. The Center provided free Arts and cultural workshops and performances to under-resourced residents on-site at people's self-help housing's 3 apartment complexes in Carpinteria. The Center also provided weekly free Arts and crafts classes to Carpinteria seniors ages 55+.
