Two main programs provide supplemental food for the residents of Macon County: The BackPack Program and the Food Pantry. The BackPack Program and the Food Pantry are vital programs that serve children and families who are food insecure. The Food Pantry is a supplemental food resource for low-income families and the homeless, allowing qualified individuals to shop for nutritional needs. During 2022, the food pantry will continue to provide support for those in need.
