Program areas at Macrostie Art Center
In 2023, Macrostie Art Center's exhibition program presented 21 exhibitions and held 12 first friday opening receptions as part of a monthly community-wide Art walk. Mac also hosted 12 community events in the giinawind creative space including artist talks, film screenings, and musical performances. In its education program, mac offered 40 adult Art classes and 36 youth Art classes, held 9 free family days, and hosted 5 field trips from local schools. In support of the local arts economy, mac held the downtown Art fair with 33 artist vendors, the fall studio tour with 26 itasca county artists, and sold artwork for over 100 different artists through our storefront and online Art shop.
