Program areas at MLAR
In 2023, MLAR rescued, cared for, and placed nearly 1,600 animals. This was accomplished with the help of over 290 volunteers who contributed nearly 24,000 volunteer hours. These dedicated individuals exercised, socialized, and, in some cases, rehabilitated the animals in MLAR's care. Additionally, the volunteers participated in continuing education opportunities on-site and community outreach opportunities off-site.
