Main Street Closet provides donated clothing and household items at thrift store prices to the general public, benefiting needy families who cannot otherwise afford them. The thrift store donates profits to charitable organizations, primarily Mennonite Central Committee, at the discretion of the board of directors. In 2023, Main Street Closet gave $401,300 to MCC and donated $38,100 to several community 501(c)3 organizations. Customers have the ability to make a difference through their purchases.
