Kin wellness and support centerkin wellness and support center a dba under Main Street Missions corp. is a holistic integrative cancer center providing free care and services for the bucks county cancer community, the cancer patients, caregivers and the local oncology healthcare workers. Free programs include nutrition, yoga, fitness, one-on-one counseling, support groups, workshops, massage, reflexology, reiki, chiropractic, acupuncture, and facials. Kin is a unique center that looks to satisfy the emotional, social, and physical needs of cancer patients. The success of kin is made possible through generous donations from the local bucks county community. Kin wellness and support center (continued)kin's mission is to help people find calm and peace and center themselves in a restorative environment. The non-profit strives to bring people to a place where they feel empowered to manage their diagnoses through treatment, recovery and beyond. Kin wellness and support center has two employees and many volunteers. Kin wellness and support center operates all year, 5 days a week with select weekend and week night events, treatments and classes.kin wellness and support center raises funds through sponsors, partners, grants, community donations, giving programs and events. Annually kin raises funds through a golf classic and kin casino night. Annually kin is the recipient of funds raised through a 5k in association with bucks 5k series, spa and salon self care month, eat, drink and be merry month, and the bucks gives a buck campaign. At-a-glance: -based in buckingham township offering free holistic and integrative care for all of bucks county -over 400 cancer patients and caregivers have been onboarded at kin. -since february 2022, kin has offered 3,709 free treatments and classes equaling 4,139 free hours of services -we welcome people with all types cancers who live in bucks county. -kin sees people in treatment, recovery and up to one year clear. -kin has a 5,000 sq ft. Facility featuring a welcome area, living room, kitchen, four practitioner suites, event space, library, fitness and yoga center, mediative gardens and a labyrinth. -over 40 practitioners and instructors provide care at kin. -our website is welcometokin.org
Main st.main st. is run by keith fenimore and kristina fenimore with support from volunteers. While Main st. is active every year during breast cancer awareness month (october), work to secure partners, sponsors and expansion is a year-round endeavor. Main st. raises money through sponsorships, partner proceed splits with local businesses, events, grants and community donations. Main st. (continued)events held by the community and local businesses vary from year-to-year but historically entail an award show and luminary stroll, a wine pairing dinner, multiple school pink outs, donation fitness and yoga classes, tp my house, block parties, etc. Main st. is the recipient of these funds raised by these events.at-a-glance: -Main st.'s primary focus is to local buck's county breast cancer community. -we launched in 2018. -we have raised over $500,000 for local breast cancer patients -we have helped over 2,000 patients in treatment and recovery -programs we created and fund include; cold capping, comfort bags upon diagnosis, treatment transportation, out-of-pocket expenses, state-of-the-art infusion chairs, integrative services and a home food delivery program. -Main st.'s footprint expands every year and can now be found in: new hope, peddler's village, carversville, doylestown, perkasie, newtown, shops at valley square and dublin town center. In 2023 we secured 137 business partners and 57 official sponsors www.welcometomainst.orgin june 2023, Main st. Merged with Main Street Missions to combine efforts and to efficiently serve the community.
