Program areas at Maine Center Ventures
As part of its mission, in prior years Maine Center Ventures ("MCV") raised funds to support the University of Maine Graduate & Professional Center ("Maine Center") of the University of Maine System, including monies to support acquisition or lease and renovation of a new facility to house the Maine Center. During FY23, MCV granted monies to the Maine Center for renovation of such space.
As part of its mission, Maine Center Ventures ("MCV") supports development of incubator space and/or programs. In prior fiscal years this was accomplished by leasing space from a third party. During FY23, the University of Maine Graduate & Professional Center ("Maine Center") moved to a new, larger facility; thus, the lease for incubator space was terminated.
Maine Center Ventures supported learning experiences for students of the University of Maine Graduate & Professional Center ("Maine Center") of its supported organization, the University of Maine System, by funding summer internships for students enrolled in Maine Center programs.
