"Maine Food and Beverage Education Center's mission is to deliver economic benefit to under resourced businesses and organizations in Maine's food ecosystem. The Corporation showcases the quality and diversity of foods and beverages grown or produced in the State of Maine through educational classes and events, aimed at raising public awareness of the varied and unique products offered by 126 Maine producers from every county in our Tasting Room in 2023. Additionally, we welcomed 877 students to education programs featuring Maine-made products, highlighting the producer stories behind them.".

Program areas at Maine Food and Beverage Education Center

In 2023, we promoted 126 Maine producers (from every county) in our Tasting Room and introduced their products to visitors. We welcomed 877 students to education programs featuring Maine-made products, highlighting the producer stories behind them, and we support local farmers by offering our campus as a local Farm Drop facility, helping to facilitate sales of freshly grown local farm products to customers across the region.
