Trail Management - Management of recreational use of certain islands off the Maine coast. Publication of the annual guidebook that is available only to members, and production of the digital version as an App.
Education & Outreach: includes Newsletter production and distribution, raising public awareness of the Maine Island Trail, engaging our new and returning members by offering frequent opportunities for member education and entertainment, promoting safe and responsible recreational boating for members and the general public.
Stewardship over certain islands off the Maine coast under various contractual arrangements.
