Conducted live and on-line continuing education programs related to Trial advocacy; maintained an on-line exchange of insights and information among members; conducted a college of Trial advocacy for young Lawyers; serving a total of 678 attorney attendance instances throughout the year, on topics ranging from ethics, including harassment and discrimination, to technical courtroom advocacy procedures.
Operated a legislative coordination program that evaluated the nominations of approximately 20 judicial nominees through member-wide surveys and legislative meetings, conducted weekly legislative committee meetings that reviewed more than 300 separate legislative proposals for impact on the justice system. These efforts included the preparation, review, and presentation of judicial testimony.
Operated an online messaging exchange to encourage communciation and sharing of expertise among the members of the Association, delivering more than 13,000 email messages throughout the year.
