The organization owns and operates an office building in downtown los angeles, California, and leases office space to its affiliate, mexican american legal defense and educational fund, and primarily other irc section 501(c)(3) organizations dedicated to serving minority communities within the inner city of los angeles, facilitating and assisting the programs of its tenants by providing common facilities for their use, and involving tenants in a joint council coordinating their activities to best serve the community.
