Program areas at Manchester Makerspace

Member Dues was our most successfull program service as we more than doubled our membership from 22 to 45 members The expenses included are to provide member services for these membership dues such as purchasing tools and consumables “for our members to use. Examples of this include drill bits, 3D printer filament, and welding gases
We hosted numerous classes over the course of the year including classes on TinkerCAD 3D modeling software, TIG welding and woodtuming. Many of the classes are open to the public, offering everyone in the Manchester community an opportunity gain hands-on leaming experience in useful skills and tools, while being coached by experienced individuals. Our classes are taught by independent instructors, some of whom are members of the makerspace
Because many members are working on large projects that may take a number of weeks to complete, we offermembers the opportunity to rent small to large plots for weeks to months. Within these plots, they have the freedom to store their projectand Personal tools without being disturbed. We also offer smaller lockers for rental for members that want to store a change of clothes for their regular trips to the makerspace
