Manhattan College is an independent catholic institution of higher learning that offers the variety of academic programming found at a large university, but with the personalized learning experience of a small, liberal arts school. As of june 30, 2023 the College's 6 distinct schools, the school of liberal arts, the school of science, the school of engineering, the school of education and health, the o'malley school of business and the school of continuing and professional studies offer more than 100 majors, minors, graduate programs and advanced certificates, as well as degreees that can be earned fully online or combined with a traditional classroom experience. With a 12:1 student-to-faculty ratio, a catalog of courses that uses new york city as a classroom and a curriculum built on a strong liberal arts foundation our students land internships and jobs at fortune 500 companies and conduct research that makes a real impact in the world. The College educates approximately 2,970 undergraduate and 519 graduate students.
Auxiliary services include the cost of room and board for approximately 1,155 full time undergraduate students living in traditional residence hall, suite style and apartment style buildings on our 22 acre campus. The College offers a four year guarantee of resident housing. Additionally, graduate students are offered housing in an apartment style building. Auxiliary services also includes campus services offered in support of educational activities to students, faculty and staff such as the bookstore and cafeteria.
