Maintain, protect, and enhance the water quality, fishery, boating safety, and native habitat of the Manitowish Waters chain of Lakes and other Waters in Manitowish Waters township. The organization is involved in water clarity and quality testing, navigation and boating regulation awareness, monitoring local government meetings, publishing a newsletter, maintaining a website, adopt a highway program, annual town 4th of july and cran-a-rama events, safeguarding our Waters from aquatic invasive species through a partnership with the towns and the north lakeland discovery center, volunteering at boat landings for the clean boats clean Waters program, fish habitat project, and healthy Lakes shoreline restoration grants.
