Maple Uganda programs supported economic development through Village Savings and Loan Groups and the Mbale Center for Innovation and Design workshops to teach new skills to local communities.
Maple worked with the Emerald Village a transitional housing community in Eugene to help people find a pathway to long term housing.
MAPLE Chile assisted Mapuche communities in the formulation implementation and replication of models of autonomous microdevelopment such as small community-owned banks self-sustainable tree nurseries and artisan management tools with the objective of supporting their cultural identity cohesion and traditional leadership. The revenue represents a grant from the Bay & Paul Foundation that is intended to fund operations for 4 years.
