Program areas at Marian House
The Marian House transitional supportive housing program (Marian House i and ii) provides comfortable, structured community living with supportive services such as meals, personal supplies, rehabilitative counseling, life-skills training, job readiness, pre-ged and ged education, referrals for medical care, and a savings program to prepare women for independent living. During the year we served 66 women in the transitional supportive housing program. The transitional family program serves previously homeless women and their children with housing, tutoring, education, employment assistance, and other enrichment services. During the year this program served 40 families; 40 women and 56 children. Marian House iii, the permanent supportive housing program, serves previously homeless women and their children. Residents receive case management, home visits, and access to support services as well as rental assistance. During the year we served 80 families, including 80 women and 92 children.
