Marin History Museum

The boyd gate house is open to the public four days per week with limited hours. The house provides an opportunity for staff and docents to meet and greet visitors sell books promote digital image sales and solicit memberships to the Museum. At the boyd we have up to two rotating exhibits per year. Our recent exhibit unbottled 1973: the Marin countywide plan at 50 was created with the help of outside curators. This exhibit publicized to Marin residents has drawn much interest and praise and increased foot traffic leading to additional revenue. Our collections facility in novato continues to house our artifact and photography collections while the boyd gate house houses our library and archives.
