Program areas at Marion County Children's Alliance

The Alliance identifies and facilitates solutions, we connect community partners and diverse donors to provide for the critial needs of children and we are a strong voice for Marion Countys children. In 2023, the Childrens Alliance mentored and/or tutored 304 at risk children and youth. Through mentoring efforts, students behavior improved, attendance increased and they began to perform better academically.We also provided emergency assistance to 259 families (437 children) affected by family violence and/or at risk of being homeless. The Alliance collaborated with the Marion County Public Schools to create the Supportive Enforcement Program to address youth substance use infractions.
