Program areas at Martha's Village and Kitchen
Resident housing- provided 628 with homeless housing services with full wrap around services. Aproximately 295,294 meals were provided to residents as well as non- residents in need of nutritional meals. When these most basic needs are met, individuals and familes are able to focus on learning life skills necessary to access and maintain stable housing. Of the clients who moved out of the emergency housing program, 78% moved into stable, secure and safe housing. These services are provided to single men, single women, and families.
Case management- the organization provides prodessional case management, career & education and child development services to all of our residents. We prodivded 3,382 life skills class sessions, 557 computer class sessions, 102 employment services sessions, 521 sessions of job seeking skills, and 64 sessions of adult education/ged preparation class.
Children's services- the children's service center was available for 250 days of child development school care, providing enrichment and development opportunities for children.
Retail expenses 497,535 - the organization operates a retail thrift store as a component of fundraising. Proceeds from sales of donated used furniture, clothing, and other items are used to support the organization's homeless housing, food and charity programs.
