Maryland Matters seeks to provide news with original reporting that educates the public about subjects that are useful and essential to their communities. Maryland Matters' public service reporting included incisive coverage of legislative and Congressional redistricting, the consequential once-a-decade process that can determine the power and policies that affects the lives of Maryland citizens.
