The Marymoor Velodrome Association sponsors amateur bicycle events and educational programs to expose riders to the sport of bicycle racing. Its mission is to create an environment that inspires and strengthens the community's passion for cycling, health and well-being, and sustainably operate a nationally recognized velodrome and recreation for generations to come.

Program areas at Marymoor Velodrome Association

Organization of educational programs and amateur bicycle events. Our primary service offering is the organization of educational programs and amateur bicycle events to expose people of all ages to the sport of bicycle racing. In 2023 we had 271 members, taught classes to 220 adults, 62 youths, and welcomed 141 new bike racers to our community. Our organization was powered by 968 volunteer hours in 2023. We continued building our livestreaming of events, so that community-members, their family, and friends who are unable to attend in person can cheer them on from around the world. We reached 3,400 subscribers, with over 32,000 views in 2023.
Jerry Baker Juniors Team. The Jerry Baker Juniors Team is a competitive youth cycling team, made of members ages 8 through 18. Its purpose is to provide young athletes with a community where they learn to love track cycling. We provide coaching and mentorship that develops riders with a lifelong enjoyment of cycling and fitness. Our athletes develop fundamental cycling and training skills while reinforcing values that will help them be succesful both on and off the bike. In 2023 we had 50 team members, supported by four coaches and a whole community of volunteers.
