INSTRUCTION AND SCHOLARSHIPS: MARYWOOD PROVIDED UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE INSTRUCTION TO 2,407 FULL-TIME AND 486 PART-TIME STUDENTS. CONSIDERED A 'LIBERAL ARTS' UNIVERSITY, MARYWOOD HAS TWO DEGREE-GRANTING COLLEGES, AND OFFERS UNDERGRADUATE DEGREES IN 61 ACADEMIC PROGRAMS WHICH INCLUDE Arts, Communication, literature, Language, Music, Theater, Dance, Health Sciences, Philosophy and Religious Studies, Psychology, Architecture, Business, Education, Social Work, Science, Math, Computer Sciences, and Social Sciences. MARYWOOD IS FULLY ACCREDITED BY THE MIDDLE STATES COMMISSION ON HIGHER EDUCATION. Research and academic support: Marywood provided services to support the instructional areas noted above. This includes library, computer services, athletics, health & fitness, technology, and art galleries. Faculty and staff are encouraged to secure funding for various research projects from federal, state, and local sources, as well as private funding agencies.
Auxiliary services: Marywood provided dormitory services to 804 resident students and food services to resident students, commuter students, and campus staff. Marywood offered four on-campus housing options and four dining venues.
