Masskids is the country's oldest private, statewide child advocacy organization and a nationally recognized leader in preventing child abuse. We achieve our goals by building community and state-level coalitions, educating parents and other adults, training child and youth-serving organizations, promoting prevention policies and practices in schools and youth organizations, and advocating for justice for survivors of abuse and accountability for abusers.our in-person and virtual trainings on child sexual abuse prevention have reached over 20,000 school administrators, teachers, counselors, coaches and other school and youth organization employees.our webinars, briefings and states policy exchange bi-monthly meetings have provided information and technical assistance on child sexual abuse prevention policies to more than 500 advocates.our pledge to prevent online campaign engages Citizens everywhere to take specific actions to prevent child sexual abuse in their homes and communities. Our billboards in times square new york, los angeles, miami and boston received an estimated 3 million impressions.our masskids and enough abuse websites generated 800,000 unique visitors and over 3.5 million pageviews from 2021 - 2024.
Massachusetts shaken baby prevention center provides education and training to hositals, community organizations, and a broad range of professionals about how to reduce infant deaths and injuries from abusive head trauma/shaken baby syndrome. The center has developed and disseminated over 1.3 million training videos and teaching materials for health care providers and for parents of newborns.
