Drug prevention education for youth: Matforce provided research-based classroom education on the harms of drug and alcohol use to 9,873 kindergarten 12th grade students.drug education and skill training for adults: Matforce provided research-based parenting education to 735 parents and teachers through parenting classes and workshops. 5,252 people participated in presentations on the harms of drugs and alcohol during 135 presentations, workshops and/or professional trainings. (continued on schedule o)strategies to address the opioid/heroin problem: 2,817 pounds of medication were collected and properly disposed of in the fiscal year through dump the drugs and 15 prescription take back boxes; multiple strategies were implemented including the overdose fatality review board.public awareness campaign: 14,138 community members were educated on the risks and harms of Substance use at 98 events. 232,807,180 media impressions were realized through the statewide saclaz media campaign which included over 10,000 tv spots, 30,000 radio spots, 30 billboards and social media messaging on the risks and harms of fentanyl, psychostimulants, marijuana, alcohol and vaping. A fentanyl and psychostimulant toolkit was further developed, focusing on messaging for youth, through the Substance Abuse Coalition leaders of Arizona, a project of Matforce.
Yavapai reentry project: 264 individuals returning home from prison and jail were provided services through the Yavapai reentry project with a majority being matched with a community coach.
