Program areas at Maxcen-Maxmath Women Society Oklahoma Branch
(1) MMS's goal has been to take action to bring about equality for all women. (2) The personal and professional consequences of reporting sexual harassment in the workplace have often made it difficult for women to speak out. Fearing they'll be ostracized, they remain quiet. On top of that, legal action can be costly. Backed by the National Women's Law Center, the Time's Up Legal Defense Fund seeks legal assistance for women battling harassment in court.
(7) Advance the lives of girls and women of all ages and skill levels through physical activity. (8) Offer online tutoring Math-Physic-Chemistry and English As Second Language (ESOL) courses with Female tutors.
(3) Provides holistic care for young women experiencing homelessness, particularly young moms and their babies. (4) Legal assistance to Women being abused; Domestic or intimate partner violence; Sexual assault and rape; Other types of violence and abuse against women and; Effects of violence against women (5) Operate as a thrift store, selling publicly donated goods to generate revenues. The revenues will be used to create jobs, and any profits generated will be donated to help further the tax-exempt purpose of existing local 501c (3) (6) Work in their communities to support the arts, preserve natural resources, advance education, promote healthy lifestyles, encourage civic involvement, and work toward world peace and understanding
