Program areas at Mccall Consulting and Associates
Our largest and only program is "Time to Heal". Time to Heal is a program designed to aid in deterring the devastating effects of traumatic experiences in particular those associated with parent/child separations. Included in the program are forums, mini-series and community outreach events and giveaways which are designed to market and advertise our programming efforts. There is also a monthly support group designed to keep former program participants engaged and informed. Our "Time to Heal" program has four components, they are as follows: 1. Beauty in the Chaos which is out workshop series that is generally conducted three times a year fall, winter and spring. The sessions consist of an activity, a meal preparation and an interactive topic dialogued. 2. DOW which stands for "Developing Our Worth" which is our workforce development training piece. Participants are afforded an opportunity to train in a specific area in an attempt to garner the skills necessary to obtain and maintain gainful employment. We currently offer training in the following areas: retail, general office, fast food and home renovations. 3. HOT which stand for "House of Transitions" Our Housse of Transitions is our attempt at providing individuals with much needed household and personal care items via our corporate partnerships. We currently have a corporate partnership which allows our organization to receive donated household and personal care items in which we provide to individuals in on an as needed basis. 4. Our scholarship component entitled BABY MO which stand for Breaking Adversity By Yielding More Opportunities affords an incoming freshman an opportunity to win a $500 scholarship to help defray the cost of attending an institution of higher education.
