Medical Education Resources Initiative for Teens (Merit) aims to eliminate healthcare disparities by transforming underrepresented high school students into healthcare leaders. Merit provides holistic support, opportunities, and resources for high school and middle school students who aspire to become healthcare professionals. Last year, 100% of the scholars in the high school program were accepted to 4-year universities and saw an increase in SAT scores. Every scholar returned for another year.
