Medical Staff of Shasta Regional Medical Center oversees medical staff activities to assure compliance with state and federal regulations, while also maintaining oversight of patient care. Five leaders oversee the 350 providers who are on staff at the hospital. Its primary mission is to promote the best practices of physicians by ascertaining that high professional standards are adhered to in the daily patient care, as well as ensuring that best practices are utilized in all physician-related matters.
