Program areas at Medomak Exchange
Waldoboro free clothing closet - receiving, cleaning, sorting, displaying all season, all ages clothing for local residents. In 2023, closet served 6368 individuals. Estimated volunteer hours 2300, consisting of 24 volunteers.
Medomak Exchange also provides space for the waldoboro food pantry to operate. In 2022 Medomak Exchange and food pantry volunteers constructed a walk in cooler. Medomak Exchange pays utilities, maintenance and other building expenses.
Good things thrift & craft shop - receiving, sorting, occasionally repairing, displaying, selling or distributing household items to local residents. Paid manager and assistant manager lead a team of volunteers. Leasehold improvements to site in 2022 included construction of a third garage bay and foundation for building expansion.
