Meet Me at the Well

Support survivors of human trafficking - Meet Me at the Well provided support to disrupt cycles of exploitation and trafficking and prevent revictimization through the heal program. This program provided over 50 at-risk individuals experiencing homelessness with care packages and resources about human trafficking prevention. We responded to 40 referrals from law enforcement, medical centers, state youth services, treatment providers, shelters, and family members. Through the Well's heal program, 28 survivors of trafficking received long-term support to achieve independent living through rental assistance, family reunification, emergency food and clothing, scholarship support for higher education and professional development, and survivor centered therapeutic support group events.

Develop partnerships with behavioral health providers - Meet Me at the Well partnered with seven organizations in Delaware that provide mental health or substance use treatment and are actively working with survivors of human trafficking to improve trauma informed care and response specific to the complex trauma of human trafficking.

Expand prevention services to protect against human trafficking including public awareness - Meet Me at the Well delivered prevention awareness and trauma training presentations to 230 professionals and peer advisors in leadership roles throughout Delaware to prevent exploitation and trafficking and disrupt cycles of victimization.
