Program areas at Memorial Hospital Foundation
Hospice general fund - in support of Memorial Hospital hospice operations, staff education, and special projects. Hospice of Memorial Hospital assists community members who are dealing with terminal illness, death, and the grief and bereavement process. Hospice is a philosophy of care, recognizing death as the final stage of life, allowing patients to continue living alert and pain free lives. Hospice care treats the person rather than the disease; the care highlights quality rather than quantity of life.
