Program areas at Memphis Inner City Rugby

In 2023, MICR completed the process of building its connected 'pathways' by launching middle school 'feeder' programs in the geographic networks of our existing high school programs. We scaled these new programs to become full tackle rugby teams while introducing a 'coaches in training' program which employs and trains high school students as middle school coaches. Meanwhile, MICR's alumni support programming is operating effectively at scale, serving more mentees than ever before.
