Mending Matters engages, connects, and empowers youth through accessible and adaptable mental health services. Every youth deserves support, which is why we provide individual therapy, restorative services like peer mediation and alternatives to suspension, and behavioral response support. In addition, our team provides outreach to students in the San Diego area.

Program areas at Mending Matters

Mending Matters has expanded access to our flexible, school-based programming at over seventy school sites, free of cost to 45,000 students. Our comprehensive model of care includes traditional mental health services (i.e. Individual and group therapy) and non-traditional mental health services (i.e. Student leadership programming, a schoolwide needs assessment, classroom prevention workshops, and restorative programs).
